Ek title ki maut : The death of a title

First and foremost need to get this straight. The blog name should be pronounced as 'chuk de phatte.' Kindly note that the word phd (to be pronounced as phud) has a silent and missing 'e' in the end. So when 'e' follows in the end, phd becomes phude or phatte however u want to call it!

I am well aware that the blog title "chuck de phd" is very close to and might be a representation of the feelings of gazillions and gazillions of doctoral students trying to push the frontiers of research to a new level and so I must confess that the similarity was fully, completely, unconditionally intentional and supposed to be funny. So please, if you are already like "baaaaad one" show some love and at the least give a 'chuk'le.

N.B. 'chuk de phatte' is a Punjabi war cry (I think) that is often used to swing the mood of people to a more enthusiastic and upbeat kind.
